So, I've finally got my website almost ready to go live. The question is, where do I host it? There's so many web hosting sites out there I don't know where to start.

Price is paramount, since my artwork isn't currently making any money and I only have a part time job.

I am based in the Uk, and my domain is jenberry.co.uk. My website is written in PHP5.3 with a MySQL5.1 database and is currently only 160MiB in size although I'll need room to expand. I want it to be easy to synchronise the files on the website with any changes I make offline (using, for example, rsync), and it would be useful if they had the phpmyadmin tool.

I'd be grateful if anyone could share any advice or experience about finding web hosts.

Thanks
Jen

So I've just been given membership by :iconmeihua: for winnig the :iconbirds-club: contest (thanks a lot.)
Not to seem ungrateful, but I don't really know what to do with it. So I've added a sitback slideshow to my page, but other than that...

Art isn't just about the picture, the presentation and viewers experience is as much a part of art. Some pictures are best viewed small, like speed paints, and pictures where the whole matters. Some pictures are best viewed large, so that they fill the screen and draw the viewer into it. Some pictures are very long, such as tutorials, and comics, and the length should not be restricted.

!Give back the artist's power over their own art!

Here's an example of the problem:

Edit: hooray, DA redeem themselves. I knew we could count on them.
