Juana the Carrion Crow by nunt Juana the Carrion Crow by nunt
I spent a month in Spain as a voluntary research assistant, and we worked on these crows. Before I left I decided to draw this for the people I worked for. It's copied in plain biro from a photo I took of Juana (pronounced kind of like Huana), one of their crows. Took me about a couple of hours. I'm afraid there were no scanners so you will have to make do with a photo of it.

I like how you've done the beak especially. The biro does a good job of giving the impression of feathers, too. Nicely done! =)

Thanks. I love biro, I should really do more of these. I don't have much time now, and somewhere between now and Christams I have to do a commission.

I just love these birds. Crows are my favourits... Kind of screepy I know, but I love them. They're beautiful.

I love crows too, in fact all the corvidae, don't know which are my favs, raven's are cool (I'd love to work with those), but jays are pretty, and jackdaws are really sweet.
